The Picarro G2509 gas concentration analyzer was designed to provide simultaneous, accurate measurement of N2O, CH4, CO2, NH3 and H2O in a rapidly evolving and dynamic ammonia environment with a high ambient methane concentration. The instrument provides a complete picture of greenhouse and reactive gas concentrations in challenging environments. These can include things like animal husbandry, manure processing and fertilizer studies.
CH4 concentrations can be characterized rapidly, down to 800 parts per million (ppm) and with ppb sensitivity. Faster ammonia (NH3) measurement response is made possible by low reactivity internal materials and high flow rate. The G2509 uses precise ring-cavity spectroscopy (CRDS) technology to measure gas concentrations with down to ppb sensitivity and negligible drift. Unique Picarro algorithms provide automatic water correction of N2O, CH4 and CO2.
